Our Security ABC event in picture #ISC2BeluxEvent

Patrick Wheeler made a little photo-reportage of our last. It might bring you some memory or give you an insight on the atmosphere of that day.

All-star lineup of speakers! EU, Belgium and BNP …

and a big crowd files in to take their seats and the networking and conversations on important topics are already the talk of the evening …

is a good feeling to see so many friends and colleagues coming out for a late evening discussion on cyber security awareness …

out ISC2 Be-Lux chapter kicks off with the requisite video conferencing connectivity …

and in this highly secured facility the guards are escorting a few late arrivals to join us, top-notch facility, cannot say thnaks enough for the space and demonstration!

is a capacity crowd! we lost count somewhere over 80 …

and this is the subject of the evening, well, “Awareness” was on the headline, but i like Nathalie’s title for the evening better … this is why we do it after all!!

attentiveness abounds from a rough crowd of professionals that can easily be bored by a lack-luster presentation , not a risk here …

and this is another key theme of the evening, Cooperation …

Am liking the intensity and engagement with the material …

and a good break for networking and soon the waffels and apples are gone (thanks for the healthy fruit snack option! i liked my Liege sugar waffel just fine 😉

lets bump it up to the EU level this time with Daria …

is a natural and engaging presentation! lots of hands up and down …

awww, a shout-out to the CyberWayFinder’s Woman in Cyber program …

is hard to capture the size of the room and faces, even in a Panorama …

but there are important content issues, what does not work and piercing through the conventional wisdoms is key for this crowd …

and a lively Q&A break after each session is well handled by our moderator and speakers … but we also need another break to chat and discuss and mingle …

and sometimes a quiet conversation can be sourced where important topics of the day can be addressed and illustrated by hand-gestures of the intelectual …

and speaking of intellectual hand-gestures, loved the difference between the start where everyone was speaking to their partner and now we are turning in our seats to meet the people in front and behind … netowkring at work …

last session of the evening and is a two-fer from Antoine and Marc , both more focused in Belgian commercial context but also more global in financial sector …

apologies, your photographer was more engaged with the content than getting pictures this session …

takeaways, someplaces (outside of europe) are much harsher on employee awareness … the resistance has been there in the past, but not anymore …

still, the opponont is ever innovative and ever at work inventing new ways to circumvent and trick our maleable, predictable, good natured, helpful human brains …

was a great evening, thanks everyone, our speakers, our host, ISC2, but most especially the Community that came out to engage on this important topic!

Our mascot disapeared but has eventually found is way home.
